I did in this run 6 culture shifts and 6 tag changes (most of them in very short time, so I did not have to state/unstate again). Click on it and you are a new tag, another country. Then you get a new decisions to form Saxony and Prussia. Now you go to the culture tab again and make saxon your primary culture. You could also dev the saxon province or conquer more of them. That hurts a little, but often repays in the long run. This usually means, you have to abandon a lot of states with different cultures. Now you need to make sure saxon culture has more than 50% of your stated lands. You push the button "accept saxon culture" for 100 dip points.
In your culture tab you can see them all. I state these lands(at least one of these provinces must be full cored). I conquer land of Saxony and Brandenburg. After that you can form or reform other countries.įor example: I start as bohemia and want to form prussia. When more than 50% of your stated development has a specific culture, you can make it your new primary culture. Highlander was an accepted culture, until I could make it primary culture in 1666. Now I had prussian ideas but not prussian government. Later i switched to protestant by rebels in order to form prussia.Īfter forming prussia, I immediately became hussite again by accepting revel demands. I was hussite from very early on and forced all my subjects to hussite. Had to wait two years because I needed to build some stuff. Then sardinia-piemont for their missions. Then Highlander to get a first culture conversion in central Europe going. I destated bohemia and started tag switching in order of lowest necessary dev. So it was a huge vassal game early on.įinally in 1577 I was able to pick the last bohemian mission and already had integrated everybody except Lithuania. I also managed to vassalize opm Milan and opm Savoy for sweet Italian reconquest. With bohemian missions you get vassals and PUs (bb, Saxony, hungary, plc). I conquered only 4 provinces for myself in the first 100+ years, to maximize gov reform progress, innovativness. Then I dismantled hre, whitepeaced bb and concentrated on a weakened Austria for humiliation. Some loans, two Merc companies and quickly siege both capitals. Austria was only allied to Brandenburg and some minor princes.
I allied every elector I could (lot of restarts because of their rivalries).
